TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE KEWVE TRADING PLATFORM
Working draft · 27 August 2026
1. Who we are
The Kewve trading platform is operated by Kewve Limited, a company registered in the Republic of Ireland under company number 725093, with registered and trading address at 6 Church Field Close, Mulhuddart, D15 KC9E, Ireland. You can contact us at info@kewve.com or on +353 873636781.
2. What these terms cover
These terms govern producer and buyer accounts on the Kewve trading platform — registration, the Export Readiness Assessment, product listings, sourcing requests, and the document vault.
They apply together with our Website Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference. Where these terms are silent, the Website Terms & Conditions apply.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Kewve supports plant-based food and beverage products, and ambient heat-treated products containing minor quantities of egg or milk as ingredients. Products containing meat, fish, or seafood are not currently eligible for the platform.
4. Verification and readiness
Registration and the Export Readiness Assessment are free of charge.
Producers must complete business verification (KYB) before listings can go live. Kewve reviews verification submissions, documents, and listings, and may approve them, return them with feedback, or decline them.
Readiness scores work as published: a score of 60 or above (Conditionally Ready or higher) unlocks your Trade Profile; a score of 80 or above (Export Ready) unlocks full product listing with no restrictions; producers scoring between 40 and 59 receive guidance and can retake the assessment once improvements are made.
When you upload documents or certificates you confirm that they are genuine, accurate, and consistent with each other. Kewve reviews documents in good faith; responsibility for their accuracy stays with the account that submitted them.
5. Listings and content
You warrant that listing content — product details, ingredient lists, photographs, and specification sheets — is accurate and that you have the right to use it.
Kewve reviews every listing before publication and may return it with feedback, or suspend a published listing where information proves inaccurate or a certificate expires. HS codes are selected by the producer, checked by Kewve against the public tariff references, and displayed to buyers as a reference only.
6. Pricing and fees
Producers set their own product price. Prices shown to buyers are all-inclusive of Kewve's service — buyers see one final price with no separate service line.
Creating an account, taking the assessment, and listing products carry no charge. The commercial terms that apply to executing an order — including payment handling — will be presented for acceptance before the first order is placed on the platform.
7. Trade routes and compliance responsibility
Kewve supports trade from Africa to the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States, Asia, and intra-African trade.
For the UK and EU, the platform provides structured compliance support (for example EU pesticide-residue screening and UK/EU labelling checks). For other routes, the platform currently provides its generic trade tools — the trade record and document vault — while market-specific requirements are being specified.
Content and tools on the platform are provided for general information and preparation and do not constitute legal, financial, regulatory, or professional advice. Producers and buyers remain responsible for ensuring compliance with the export, food safety, customs, and regulatory requirements that apply to them and to their destination markets.
8. Data protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.
9. Acceptable use and suspension
You must use the platform lawfully and must not misuse it — including introducing malware, attempting unauthorised access, or disrupting the service. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse or breach of these terms, as set out in the Website Terms & Conditions.
10. Records
Trade documentation held on the platform is retained in line with commercial record-keeping requirements (up to 7 years), after which deletion can be requested in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
11. Our service, liability, and changes
Kewve provides tools and services that support export readiness, trade preparation, and structured supply. Kewve does not guarantee commercial outcomes, sales, contracts, or buyer engagement.
The limitations of liability, disclaimers, and rights to update the service in the Website Terms & Conditions apply equally to the platform.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ireland.
